Dietary Cook

Central Care Solutions is seeking full time and part time cooks at Van Duyn Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Syracuse, NY. This position is responsible for preparing resident means in accordance with facility policy and procedures.

Essential functions include:

· Properly prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations

· Prepare food according to standardized recipes

· Portioning and serving of food items as designed

· Maintain sanitary food handling practices

· Utilize sanitation procedures required to provide a safe and healthy environment

· Responsible for providing appropriate modified consistencies

· Other duties as assigned by managers

This position is expected to work every other weekend. Full time positions have benefits available. All candidates must successfully complete a Department of Health Criminal History Record Check.
