Dover Bethany Early Learning Center is seeking full and part time *ASSISTANT TEACHERS *that enjoy providing hands-on learning experiences for children, working as a team, and communicating with parents! We provide a fun and engaging learning environment while maintaining a high quality, well supported work place for our teachers. We are a non-profit Christian Childcare Center that provides a nurturing, learning atmosphere to children ages 6 weeks of age through 12 years.
*Job Description: *
* working with lead teacher to develop and implement lesson plans
* supervision of children at all times
* maintain a fun and inviting learning space
* engage with children throughout the day in order to provide many opportunities for language, gross motor, fine motor and social-emotional development
* observation and ongoing assessment of children using the Ages and Stages and the Ages and Stages: SE
* Strong communication skills are necessary as you will be expected to interact with colleagues, parents, and children.
* The ideal candidate will be attentive to the children's needs and have a passion for the education field.
*Minimum Requirements needed to apply for the opening: *
* High school diploma or GED
* Experience working with children
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
