*ICU, and Emergency Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) OR Veterinary Technicians with 2+ years experience*– CVT’s & RVT’s are a vital part of our health care team. Also looking for experienced Surgery technicians. As highly trained and educated staff members, we rely on them to take care of our critically ill hospitalized patients and assist our doctors in surgery. In addition, they provide direction and leadership to our veterinary assistant staff. All of our CVT’s and RVTs play a critical role by maintaining the very strict, high standards mandated by the LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital/Animal Medical Center at Cooper City.
*Schedule* – Because we are open 24 hours a day, many local veterinarians are depending on us to care for their clients and patients when they are closed. This means that we see most of our emergency cases in the evenings and on the weekends. To work at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital, you must be willing to work evenings and weekends. It is imperative that you be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. Our 2nd shift runs in staggered shifts. We try to work around family needs and school schedules for all of our staff. This creates a fluid and ever-changing schedule, so flexibility is valued. New employees may have to wait for up to a year to be put on a “set” schedule. Employees are allowed to swap shifts with other comparably trained staff members if they have a conflict.
