DelRay Cafe is a food truck connected to the Nickel City bar's patio. We are looking for line cooks that can keep a good attitude in a stressful situation, and cook our food the right way every time. We are a part of the Nickel City team, so most of our business will be tickets sent to us from the bar. We also take walk up orders, and online Togo orders. It's simple food so consistency is very important. We are technically an open kitchen as well and a big part of the Nickel City experience, so there is a customer service aspect to this job. We are looking to fill a full-time closing position 7pm - 3am.
Perks - This job starts out at 13 an hour with a raise after 90 days. We also receive 10% of the bar’s food sales at the end of the night split amongst whoever worked that day. Credit card tips given to the truck are put on your paycheck, and cash tips are split with any other truck crew clocked in. We also offer small health benefits.
Responsibilities
• Making sure the food is cooked consistent and in a timely manner
• Running orders into the bar

Skills
• Basic cooking skill
• At least 1 year of kitchen experience is preferred
• Basic knife skills

* Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
* Follow recipes and presentation specifications
* Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
* Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
* Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
* Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
