*ABA CLINICAL SUPERVISOR*

*Brief Job Summary: *

The *_Clinical Supervisor _*is a BCBA with at least 2 years of experience in the field of ABA. This position will train new staff, develop ABA programs, conduct parent training, conduct assessments, and write progress reports.

*Principal Responsibilities and Duties: *

• Supervise ABA programs in the home and school settings.

• Develop ABA programs to reduce problem behaviors and teach functional skills

• Organize and maintain data collection for programs

• Work amongst an integrated team of professionals, including but not limited to, speech therapists, occupational therapists, ABA therapists, school staff etc.

• Administer assessments for clients and will be responsible for writing clear and relevant goals for client development

• Team leader working successfully with parents, guardians, students, behavior therapist, program managers to ensure the client’s goals are met on a monthly basis

• Model and train appropriate teaching strategies to therapist, parents, and guardians

• Provide consultation to parents, guardians, IEP team, and behavior therapist in order to help develop skills for the child’s ongoing success

• Will be available to respond to communications regarding client or company-related issues.

• Responsible for client progress reports with recommendations for future goals

• Assist with the supervision of behavior interventionists who provide direct 1:1 intervention to clients in the home and school settings, and program managers

• Conduct behavioral assessments and FBAs.

• Analyze data and develop effective data collection systems for clients.

• Conduct direct 1:1 intervention to clients as needed.

• Lead team meetings and trainings.

• Conduct staff trainings.

*Organization of Materials: *

• Keeps data up to date

• Keeps stimuli organized.

• Keeps reinforcers organized.

• Ensures forms/reinforcers are stocked at clients’ locations.

*Data Analysis: *

• Ensures data is up to date

• Ensure BI’s are following correct progression within programs.

• Ensure BI’s are working on correct targets.

• Ensure BI’s are using the correct mastery criteria before moving on to the next target.

• Ensures BI’s are filling out data fields correctly and completely in Central Reach.

*Therapy Provision: *

• Ensures all acquisition programs are being targeted.

• Ensures all maintenance programs are being targeted.

• Ensure behavior plan is updated and followed.

• Probes and introduces new targets and SD’s.

• Probes generalization of mastered skills.

• Take reliability data and suggests when BI’s need additional training or overlaps.

• Provides open and frequent communication to BI’s on teams.

• Conducts preference assessments.

*Physical Requirements: *

• Must be able to assume a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crouching, sitting, standing, etc.) in the course of working with children with developmental disabilities and behavior problems.

• Must be able to work in a highly stressful environment while maintaining a calm demeanor throughout daily interactions with clients, staff, parents, and visitors.

• Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.

• Must be able to travel to and from different locations and sites in the greater Los Angeles area.

• Supervised by: Clinical Director

*Qualifications: *

• Energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, creative, and dependable.

• Comfortable working with children who display behavioral challenges.

• Reliable transportation, proof of valid California driver’s license, safe driving record, proper auto insurance and vehicle registration. Travel is required.

• TB clearance every 2 years.

• A clear DOJ/FBI background check.

*Education: *

• M.A. or M.S., PsyD, or Phd in ABA (or related field) required

• BCBA required

*Experience: *

• 2+ years working in the field of ABA.

• 1+ year supervising ABA programs (preferred).

• Experience conducting/writing FBAs and other behavior assessments.

• Experience with ABA and DTT program development.

• Develop and implement positive behavior plans & strategies.

• Excellent written and spoken communication.

• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

*Related Training: *

• Maintain up-to-date training/certification status in CPR and other company-provided in-service topics.

• Must have and maintain a basic knowledge of computer systems and applicable software.

*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *

*Administrative Duties: *

• Returns office phone calls/emails in a timely manner.

• Submits timesheet accurately and on time.

• Submits reports on or before due date.

• Follows administration policies (timesheets, cancellations, time-off, etc.).

• Follows HIPAA.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
