The Patient Registration Representative (PRR) is responsible for a variety of clerical duties in the office. PRRs are the first point of contact in at Pediatric Ophthalmology Associates, Inc. and are required to represent the Practice in a professional manner. The PRR is accountable for obtaining patients’ demographics and billing information, collecting payments, and utilizing multiple software programs

*Essential Functions: *

Accurately register patients, and collect demographic and billing information.

Requires strong customer service skills

Collect payments due when applicable

Create and manage patient charts

Answer Practice phone, appropriately transfer calls as needed

Schedule appointments

Check patients out including scheduling future and follow-up appointments.

Accurately records and documents patient information

Perform clerical tasks as needed

Comply with all legal, ethical, and Practice requirements

Establishes and maintains patient relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.

Operates as a team member with all associates and patients of POA

Attends work regularly as scheduled

Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Must be willing to travel to all POA locations in Columbus, Dublin, and Westerville
