About the job
Provides education experiences to the campus community in areas of gender equity, gender-based violence, diversity, inclusion and social justice through a variety of presentations, training sessions, workshops and other resources.
Interacts with faculty, staff and students to promote the goals and objectives of the Women & Gender Resource Center (WGRC).
Develops, facilitates, and assess formal trainings and discussion groups for students and campus constituents about multi-faceted areas of identity, diversity and cultural competence.
Creates partnerships and collaborative events and programs with university departments and external agencies to maximize effectiveness and outreach of diversity trainings and programs.
Manages month-long programs for various identity groups based on national diversity observance calendars; topics include but are not limited to culture, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, race and ethnicity.
Creates and manages WGRC outreach and marketing plan, including managing WGRC social media, advertisement and marketing of programs, services and resources to the campus community.
Oversees the WGRC�s CORE Team Student Ambassador Program to include but not limited to recruitment and selection, oversight, leadership development, evaluation and advisement.
Manages expenditures in accordance with budget allocations for gender equity initiatives.
Assists in providing specialized reports, proposals, manuals and other documentation as required for the program for management use.
Reviews program records and reports of activities and recommends modifications to methods or procedures as required.
Performs other job-related duties as required.

Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience.
Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Preferred: Two (2) years of directly job-related experience.
