The Office of Student Affairs, in the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a Coordinator for Recruitment. The Coordinator, reporting to the Program Manager for Clark Foundation Scholarship Programs, leads the recruitment and selection efforts for new Clark Foundation Scholarship recipients for the A. James Clark Scholars Program, the Clark Opportunity Transfer Scholars Program, and the Clark Legacy Scholarships.
The Coordinator conducts recruitment visits at local institutions, serves on the freshman admission committee and scholarship selection committee, acts as the main point of contact for prospective students, and plans annual scholarship interview days. Working with the Coordinator of Retention, this position co-plans and implements the annual summer bridge programs for the Clark Scholars Program and the Clark Opportunity Transfer Scholars Program.
The position also supports Clark School recruitment and outreach events, playing an important role in maintaining the website, marketing materials, program brochures, and presentation slides, that are shared with campus colleagues, Maryland high schools and community colleges, and prospective students.
